BISP Taleemi Wazaif Payment Check Online

The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has good news for students all over Pakistan in 2026. The government has raised the amounts of the stipends under the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program to encourage more families to send their kids to school. This program is only for the children of people who are currently receiving BISP Kafaalat. Your kids can get these educational scholarships if you are already getting the Kafaalat payment every three months. This guide will show you how to use the 8171 portal to check the status of your payment and what the new scholarship rates are for 2026.

Quarterly New Stipend Rates for 2026

The government has set up the payments so that they give more help to female students. This is to promote gender equality in education. This is the most recent breakdown of the quarterly payments:

How to Check Your BISP Taleemi Wazaif Payment Online

It’s now easier than ever to find out how much money your child has in their scholarship. You don’t have to go to the BISP office just to find out what’s going on. Just do these simple things:

  • Go to the 8171 Portal: Visit the official website at 8171.bisp.gov.pk .
  • Type in your mother’s CNIC: Please enter the mother’s 13-digit CNIC number because the program is linked to her BISP account.
  • Captcha Verification: Type in the security code that you see in the picture.
  • Check Results: Press “Check Status.” The portal will show the Kafaalat payment and the Taleemi Wazaif information for each child who is registered.

70% Attendance is Required

Keep in mind that Taleemi Wazaif is a “Conditional Cash Transfer.” This means that the student will only get the money if they go to school at least 70% of the time. The system stops paying for that quarter automatically if a student misses too many classes. Teachers now upload attendance data digitally, which is synced directly with the BISP 8171 database.

Registration Process for BISP Taleemi Wazaif Payment

You can’t do it all online if your child isn’t registered yet. You need to do this:

  • Take the mother’s CNIC and the child’s NADRA B-Form to the nearest BISP Tehsil Office.
  • Get the “Enrollment Token” (the slip of paper that says you are accepted).
  • Take this slip to the child’s school and have the Headmaster sign or stamp it.
  • Send the verified slip back to the BISP office. The stipends will start in the next payment cycle after NADRA checks them.
