How to Check Your BISP Payment Status Online

You don’t have to go to an office to check if your money has come. You can check it right away from your phone:

  • Go to the official 8171 Web Portal at 8171.bisp.gov.pk .
  • Type in your 13-digit CNIC number without any dashes.
  • Type in the 4-digit captcha code that is on the screen.
  • To check your eligibility and balance, click “Check.”
  • Important: Only believe messages that come from the official code 8171. If you get a text from a private mobile number saying it’s from BISP, it’s a scam.

New Requirements for BISP Registration and Biometrics

The government has reopened registration for families who were previously not allowed to register or whose NSER survey has expired for the 2026 phase.

Fingerprint verification is now required by law. To get your money, you have to go to a specific Bank Alfalah or HBL biometric ATM or a BISP campsite.

  • NSER Survey: If your PMT score has changed or your data is more than three years old, go to your nearest BISP Tehsil office to update your record.
  • Valid CNIC: Make sure your CNIC hasn’t run out of time. This month, NADRA has put BISP beneficiaries at the top of the list for ID card renewals.

BISP Taleemi Wazaif: Extra Support for Children

Mothers can get educational stipends for their kids in addition to the Kafaalat cash. These payments will be given out in April 2026 to students who have been to school at least 70% of the time. Students in higher secondary (college) can get up to PKR 5,000 every three months if their enrollment is confirmed through the BISP mobile app or office.
